BlueAnn Who? BlueAnn Ewe, that’s who! BlueAnn Ewe is a sheep. A big, blue sheep.

She was born in Arkansas and raised on a farm. She loves the outdoors. When BlueAnn was a young ewe, she and the other little lambs and farm animals would run and jump and play. That’s one reason she likes her job today — she gets to have lots of fun helping people like you learn how to stay healthy by doing things that are good for you ... like exercise.

BlueAnn was born blue. Her mom and dad were proud to have the only blue lamb in the flock, so they named her BlueAnn. You might say she was "outstanding in her field!"

One day, Arkansas Blue Cross and Blue Shield spotted her. She was perfect for the company mascot. In fact, she became an "ambassador" of health and wellness for Arkansas Blue Cross. BlueAnn travels around Arkansas promoting good health, as found in the company slogan: "Blue & You. Together. For A State of Better Health."

BlueAnn loves kids — she is a "ewe" (a girl sheep) — so some of her best friends are baby goats! Did you know baby goats are called "kids?" That’s one of BlueAnn’s favorite jokes! But seriously, helping children be healthier is what BlueAnn likes to do.

Today, she has her own motto: "Have fun. Stay healthy."
